New Poser/Daz model under development: Tenochtitlan
Written on February 13, 2011 at 7:05 pmI recently watched some documentaries about the Aztec, and I was very intrigued about their civilization and how the capital city, Tenochtitlan, was depicted. It is said that when the “conquistadores” arrived there, they thought they discovered paradise.
I started searching all possible references about this amazing city, and started to model it, beginning from the Templo Mayor. The Templo Mayor is quite ready (click the screenshot below to see a larger version), besides some minor adjustments, and the ornamental statues and pottery which will come later.
There are about other 20 large buildings to model before Tenochtitlan is completed, so stay tuned and follow the development !
